I suffer badly with my fibro and my anxiety disorder I have started a discussion already called fibro with swollen hands....
I went to my gp again as my legs were getting worse and my knees were swelling and now been told i have tendonitis and been put on tabs. I took my precription to the pharmacy and was told they didnt have them that they would order them and to come pick them up next day so i did i went home and took the tablets which i was told to on the sticker which was take 1 x2 per day as they were 300mg but didnt think to look at the actual packet which was actually for 600mg tabs i took 2 1 day and 2 the next then realised i wasnt well at all and rang 111 when i then looked at the packet i realised that the pharmacy had put wrong label on my tabs i was supposed to take half of a 600 mg tab and i took x2 full 600 mg tabs so i overdosed and really panicked now my doctor has reported the incident.
I just feel like its 1 thing after another feeling really fed up with it all. My gp has just signed me off for 2 months as well I am not sure what happens to me after then
HI Melissa., do you know about LDN? Perhaps you try it... when we run out of options it' time to go for alternatives. Each case is different so not all meds work for everyone but....
Thank goodnes you rang 111......this same question/complaint my father once had, too. He could not understand "the way the chemist had written the label".....as you say 1x2 tabs can be very confusing...it should have read 1 tablet to be taken twice a day.....
as for your Tendonites....I, too had one in my L) upper arm, and after waiting too long to get treatment, became a surgical case.....you need to have a Steroid injection into the Direct Infection via the use of Ultrasound,,,,and lots of physio....the best person/doctor to treat you is an Orthopaedic surgeon.......and DON'T use the limb that has the tendonites in.....that also was my mistake...I continued to use same, which made it worse.....good luck with All....and yes the rest is what you need..............Bron
Ohh bless you that was terrible for you, Im glad your gp has reported him. I always check the perscription what has been wrote on it as mistakes do happen their are days when everything just gets on top of you and you feel youve had enough. I was like that tuesday really had enough of everything. what I do is do something to help lift your spirit eg hair done buy yourself some flowers choclates a new piece of clothing jewellery we all deserve a treat and to be kind to our selves. I also help to raise money for the british heart foundation I find helping a charity helps to lift me also especially when they email to tell me what Ive raised by donateing items to sell. having fibro is no laughing matter and trying to find ways of making our lives a bit easier is our aim and goal. being on this site has helped me no end we are on here to help support each other the best we can. so dont ever feel your on your own take care gentle hug
