I have been having grayish stools the past day or so. I have been eating yogurt at every meal because I love it and it has health benefits due to good bacteria as everybody knows. Also I eat chicken noodle soup. Would like to try other foods but I'm a little afraid.
Does anybody have any ideas? (I know of the FODMAP but I have limited income.)
I wonder if the yogurt is causing the strange color.
Your diet is very unhealthy. You need to eat a balanced diet. You don't have to do FODMAP ( and if you do it isn't ecpensive), just keep a food diary
Why are you afraid to try other foods? Do you have IBS? Stop the yoghurt for a while to see if your stool colour goes back to normal. Try other foods and monitor any reactions you have to them by starting a food diary. If symptoms continue, see your doctor.
Fodmap doesn't have to be expensive. I know ready made gluten free products do tend to cost more, but it's perfectly possible to have a well balanced and nutritional low fodmap diet at no extra cost - in fact it can be less expensive than buying processed or many ready made meals. As others have said, a diet of yoghurt and chicken noodle soup is unlikely to meet your nutritional needs.
