My dr has just increased my mitazapine from 15mg to 30 mg.  Only taken the increased deos 2 nights.  Today had pain in my chest and headache.  I think this is normal isnt it.  What I would like to know is how long does it take for the new dose to work and  does it work on the anxiety side.

Also since taking increased dose I have had aches and pains in my chest, is this normal

PS one other question I always want to cry is this normal on this medication

Hi Joyce, I just researched your meds it takes 2 4 weeks for them to start working. Yes they are side effects of the meds. Good luck

Thanks for stephany, I more or less came to same conclusion but tonight aches in chest and leg gone and nor ache in neck.  Heyho get on with it I suppose.  Thanks
