I dont know where to begin.. I met someone online who did not tell me they had herpes 1 or 2 I’m very sad last time I got tested before sleeping with him I was negative and then a week after had symptoms of gonorrhea guess who not only gave me that but my blood work tested positive for the anti bodies for herpes and I’m very sad I feel like my love life is over. I confronted them about it and they didnt even blame me or anything but did tell me to leave them alone like he wasnt shocked or anything.
I’m so sorry this happened to you. I think im going through the same thing. I hooked up with someone I’d been dating and he showed me his std results for everything but hsv. A week later I started having symptoms but all my swabs and blood work are coming back negative. I want to ask him if he has been tested for HSV but I don’t know how to bring it up without sounding aggressive especially since I’m not certain I have it yet.
