Antidrepressant withdrawal symptoms, Severe Pain

I have been on Fluoextine (Prozac) for over 30years. Over some years now, not sure how many, but I act out my violent dreams, hurting myself or my bed partner. I went to my GP who said that the antidepressant does effect REM sleep, so I decided I wanted to come off of antidepressants. My GP told me to cut down from 40mg to 20mg for a week or so then cut in half again etc till I am off them, so it wouldnt take long. When I got home and read online about antidepressant withdrawal, I found that its best to do this slower than the GP indicated. As I said earlier, through acting out my dreams, mostly violent dreams where I would try and defend myself, I would kick out, and injured my lower back and SI joint. I saw an osteopath/acupunturist who was helping me get over this. By the time my back was 90% better, and came off the strong painkillers. I was down to 20mg of Prozac, and must admit my dreams were less violent, and some pleasant. Then I started to get hip pain, the same side where I had the SI joint pain, I assumed as did the Osteopath that this was caused by me walking awkwardly while I was in pain with the SI joint problem. However the pain has got worse over several weeks, even with exercises from a Physio. The physio says its Greater Troncanter pain, known as GTPS. The pain is like sharp toothache pain in my hip, I have it all the time when walking standing and sitting, and its getting me down. I am now on 10mg of Prozac. I have had some really down days and a bit tearful, but I put this down to the pain getting to me, and not been able to do my normal daily activities. Then It came to me to look online to see if antidepressant withdrawal had any link to GTPS, and it said YES. Most sites say withdrawal can lead to muscle and joint pain as well as anxiety etc, but dont go into much detail. I have been trying to find more information on this , but have come up blank. I want to go back to my GP with some tangible info, and if I should go back up to 20mg, and stay there much longer, and see if it reduces the pain. My GP has been good with other health issues I have presented him with, but I feel from his attittude that it would only take me 6 weeks to come off Prozac, that he is not good in this particular area. So l looked online to see if others had similar withdrawal problems and how they got over them, so I ended up here. So has anybody else experienced severe sharp pains in hips (or elsewhere) and so you think I am now on the right track, that withdrawal is causing me such pain?
