Anxiety about food, how Can I start eating again ?

I just traced the source of my anxiety, it’s food. Unhealthy food or anything with meat.

After that one intense panic attack after eating pizza I now get all trembly and nervous whenever I’m eating anything with meat or unhealthy stuff. I fear that I would get like a heart attack or something while eating. I don’t get nervous about it when I’m eating fruit or veggies.

Anyway to overcome this anxiety? It’s fairly recent (2weeks)

Well it’s not a horrible thing eat what makes you happy you will lose weight and be much healthier I’d say if you were going to try to eat meat make sure it’s organic at least then you know it’s not garbage

If I eat junk food I get a stomach ache and then my anxiety goes up...so I know I have have to avoid foods like that

Eating healthier is not a bad thing but you need to get back to enjoying food again. There is nothing wrong with treating yourself sometimes. It’s a case of mind over matter. You are not going to have a heart attack from eating a pizza. It’s a case of getting back on the horse and realising nothing bad is going to happen. We all have times in our life when we are scared to do things, believe me I know, but if we do it anyway most of the time it’s never as bad as you think. Everyone deserves pizza in their life!
