not sure if anyone can help but does anyone ever feel dizzy like you have vertigo its as if your head is wobbling off and you feel like you are not walking straight either.
Yep I feel dizzy lightheaded n wierd all the time
That is one of the first symptoms of anxiety I felt before I was diagnosed and knew that I even had anxiety.
Yes! And i have now had this explained to me by the lady giving me CBT that it is to do with your breathing and the levels of oxygen not going in and out at same levels so It affects your body...i find once the science of it is explained to me i lose the fear of it being something health related... I would say most people on this forum have experienced it as its one of the first and most common signs of anxiety
thank you for your replies you just feel like you are going mad and that your the only person who feels like this at the time its so horrible
You need to find what works best for you to make you feel better...it might be diet, medication, therapy etc etc. for me it is therapy, anti depressants, and meditation. As i start to feel better i will want to tackle my diet and exercise and at some point in the next few months it will all be a distant memory... But i have learnt that i need to keep a better check on my stress levels and watch my body for signals that things are not right and ask for help sooner. You will get better, but you have to find out what works best for you...good luck!
thank you for the relies i have started counselling i hope it help, i've only had 1 session so far and felt bad all week since which the doctor did say you may feel bad after the first 2 or 3 but im open to the thought it will help in the long term. It's just the wobbly head and dizziness at the moment i cannot stand.

Oooops! I'm 46, i forgot i just had a birthday! Now i know i AM going mad! Lol!!!
Yes all the time. At first I was worried sick about it, but I talked to two doctors and they both said it was definitely a symptom of anxiety. Now that I've accepted it is due to anxiety and not some other problem I've actually started to feel better when it comes to dizziness.
It usually is an ear balance problem with nausea and dizziness. You can take statins to relieve the symptoms I think.
