Anxiety and going to work in a office of people??

Hello everyone, I have recently been dealing with really bad anxiety that reared its ugly head when I started going into a office to work. The commute was terrible and long as I had to take a 1 hour bus ride into the city of Atlanta, GA then a train to my workplace. My anxiety was high due to the train ride commute because of the thieves at the train station. So I would always arrive to work anxious. I came from working at home so being in a office full of people was definitely difficult. I had an incident happen at work after lunch where my heart shot up to 140 BPM and blood pressure 175/110 out of nowhere. I ended up at the ER to be told nothing was wrong. I followed up with an Endocrinologist, Cardiologist, and OB/GYN and nothing but anxiety. I have been working from home ever since because I was too afraid to go back into the office. I have now been doing fine for about 3 months and was offered a position working in office. Im afraid to go because of my anxiety and panic attacks, but this would be a great career opportunity. Any suggestions of how to deal with anxiety in a office setting?

i would love a work from home job. i am really considering finding one! the money isnt worth it to me. i just wsnt to feel normal again. if u find anything that helps please let me know!

Yeah I had no choice but to work from home. Going into any office was NOT an option and I have to work to provide. My position now does not pay well but it is completely stress free. It’s just not where I want to be in life and the opportunity presented is exactly what I want to do. I know I can’t work from home forever considering the fact that its causing social anxiety for me now. Going out to th supermarket is stressful because of the large crowds. I have to force myself to get out.
