Anxiety and medications

I had my gallbladder removed March 2nd of this year. Ever since I’ve been suffering major anxiety. Along with ibs, stomach erosions and some digestive discomfort. I wake up every morning, early with anxiety and shake most of the day. The shaking is annoying and embarrassing as well as tiring. My ibs is constantly one way or the other. Rarely in between. Some days I can’t go, some days it’s 3-4 times. And the stomach cramping sucks. I have a lot of chest pains constantly no matter if I eat or not. And I eat no spicy, no acidic, no fried foods and not much fatty or sugary foods. No soda. Drink lots of water only. No alcohol ever. Don’t smoke. I just don’t understand how my world has been turned upside down since gallbladder removal. Can’t tell if all my issues are anxiety related or not. And why the heck would I developed such anxiety after gallbladder removal? Anyway, I’ve been doing talk therapy for a little under 4 months now. Not much relief. The head doc at the practice prescribes meds and I was on Zoloft for 4 weeks. It didn’t really help. Gave me horrible tremors and weird burning sensations in my head. Also weird dreams and morning nausea. And that was only on 25 mgs. She now wants me to start on Buspar. Anyone have any luck with Buspar and anxiety? Hoping it helps with this horrible morning anxiety. I need relief! Five months of this anxiety thing is exhausting and scary. I just want to feel good again and get my life back! Anxiety is destroying my life.

I’ve looked up another drug called Librax which is for ibs, stomach ulcers as well as an acid reducer and treats anxiety. Kinda wanted to try that but doc wants me on the Buspar first.

Just wondering if she gave the Zoloft long enough? Has anyone else had tremors and head burning with Zoloft? Any positive/negative with Buspar? Anyone ever used Librax?

Just looking for input from others dealing with this horrible thing called anxiety. Oh and by the way, I’m 39 and never had anxiety issues before. This is all new to me since gallbladder removal which I probably didn’t even need in the first place but too late now......

Presumably you have had tests done to find out if anything physical is going on. Just wondering if the anesthetic has anything to do with this or if u had any antibiotics. Drs are being restricted now in the prescribing of medication for anxiety due to its side effects and addictive properties.
