Does anyone else struggle with relationships? I've been with my partner for 4 years and at the moment work is *very* stressful and it seems to be impacting on everything.
Once I get home from work, I seem to get a stomach ache which feels very much like anxiety and I can't seem to do much about it. I don't have it as much with work, and can manage throughout the day but once I'm home I seem to have this persistent anxious/rumbling stomach and I'm not sure what to do.
Sounds like nerves (which is stressful on the body) and can cause stomach problems.
Anxiety and stress causes the digestive system to not function properly. Are you having any heartburn?
I find a good cup of herbal tea (non caffeinated) helps. I didn't like tea, but it has been a lifesaver. Turmeric and ginger can help with your stomach and nettle leaf or lemon balm helps repair the nervous system which can help ease your body and mind when you're feeling stressed. Of course there's other things you can do. Hope you feel better!
Sorry I didn't address the relationship part. Everyone has stressful points in relationships. Wish I could help with that, but sometimes (idk for your situation) you just gotta wait and stick it out.
