Anxiety and struggling for breathe

I was diagnosed of general anxiety disorder and emotional dysregulation in Feb I have bin on fluoxetine since end of may my anxiety was improving but all of a sudden I have been feeling really anxious and tired and my chest feels so heavy and heavy breathing and chest pains I feel like I'm never gonna get better I don't want to up my dose to 20mg because of the side effects I get is horrendous.. I just want to feel normal it's becoming a viscous cycle that a few weeks I feel on top of the world and then I start to feel all anxiety again.. any reassurance

Anxiety can really cause so much misery.  It's a roller coaster.

one thing that really helps me to calm down are audio meditations on you tube for anxiety.  Many to choose from. They totally calm me down and my symptoms diminish or go away. I use earbuds and lay down to listen a couple times a day.

just search for guided meditation for anxiety.

All anxiety starts in the brain so you have to calm down the brain.

Exercise releases a feel good hormone!

if you can get a book called mindfulness it teaches you how to manage your anxiety and is a really good read.

I meant to tell you there is a proper breathing technique. Breathe in slowly through your nose making sure your Belly rises.

exhale through your lips like you're blowing out a candle to the count of  five .

Think of how the air feels coming in your nose and going out your mouth. This is done to keep your focus on your breathing and not the anxiety. Do this every time you feel anxious.
