I know melds have all different reactions I say give time for your body to adjust
i do hope so anne. i been onfluxetine and sertraline to no success.
How long you been on them if u dnt mind me asking Richard
I think venlafaxine is known for having the side effect of sweating. I do when I'm anxious and I'm on that drug.
How much do you have to take?
yeah i know all side effects on these tablets say sweating and anxiety. im like why am i on this. its my 4th week.first two weeks were 75mg now upto 150mg. i dont mean general sweating though. i mean say for example i eatdinner with family. all of sudden get hot and drip all over. this is my family. my comfort zone. just makes me depressed even more
We'll u should maybe go back to ur hop and explain what's happening and they mite have an answer for ya thankfully am over side effects 1st 2 weeks were nite mare
yeah i have to go back this week. Thats why they put me on thesetablets. they say anxiety is making me sweat. yeah first week was horrible on meds
Yep my first few days I was worse but settled down now they might change ur meds for ya
Are you on these for anxiety or depression or both?
i beleive im on them for anxiety, however doctor says its a vicious circle, that i cud be depressed so im assuming for both.
This may/may not be helpful but i realised that using deodorant made me sweat more. Ever since ive stopped using it I have felt that I sweat no where near as much and am benefiting greatly from it. I suffer from anxiety too. The winter months are beneficial for me as I dont sweat and am not embaressed in public with bulging sweat patches.
Yeah, I have noticed that too! I am not getting treated for anxiety, but I have been suffering panic attacks lately, and have had random sweating spells when I am anxious. The funny thing about it is that I naturally do not sweat much. Seriously, I grew up in a very hot climate, and everyone else would be sweating- but not me. I also have an autoimmune disease that limits my ability to sweat! Yet, if I get worked up about something, I start pouring sweat like I was in a steam room. Ive given up on deodorant. It does nothing to help, except mask the scent when I do sweat. I’ve noticed it has reduced since I stopped using deodorant. It never occurred to me that it could be related.
