Everytime I eat something, especially if I eat something small and bite sized, as soon as I eat the food, I feel the sensation in the middle of my throat all the time and it feels stuck there, I start panicking and I’m gasping for air even though I’m not choking from it. This happens all the time, I saw my doctor before as I thought I had a food stuck in my esophagus and he found nothing. Can anxiety make you feel like you have a piece of food stuck? Most of the times I don’t wait to eat since I’m afraid if one day I do actually choke and I’m pretty much doomed since I live alone. He does mention I suffer a lot from throat infections or sinus problems. And he also knows I have severe bad anxiety attacks. How can I stop feeling this way and stop overthinking my life is in danger?
