Anxiety breathing issues 24/7

I've been constant breathing issues that r with me 24/7. I can't take it anymore I can't live normally! I'm scared to do anything I feel my throat will close up. My breathing patterns remain different I can't sleep i felt like I'm losing it! It's constantly. Anyone relate??

I can’t relate to the breathing issues specifically but I have loads of physical symptoms that pop up with my anxiety! Usually it feels like my chest is tight or full which scares me because I believe I may have cardiac issues. Have you talked to your doctor? They can usually help assure you that nothing is seriously wrong and it is just anxiety coming into play. Anxiety also makes us very hyper aware of everything that goes on in our body, for example I can always feel my heart beating, it sounds like you are very attuned to your breathing. Try to keep your mind off of it. I am majoring in medicine and I know as long as you can talk you can breathe. If you feel something is seriously wrong it doesn’t hurt to make an apt and get some tests done to help ease your mind. I hope you start to feel better soon - you are not alone

Yes I have felt this and I think I start to be hyper aware of my breathing and that caused it to be more sever when I get my mind off it I feel better 

I went to ER 4 times lots of test and nothing

Then try to keep that in your mind. They definitely would have caught something by now. I know how troubling the physical symptoms of anxiety are. They can take over your life - if you let them. Try exercising, meditating, yoga. Try to calm your brain down and remember this physical feeling from your anxiety is not harmful and it will not kill you - it’s just your brain. The mind is very powerful. You will be ok!

HI I’ve been suffering for a year now with this it’s called sensorimotor breathing it’s the worst feeling ever I haven’t left my house in a year over it I struggle to leave my room cause I don’t breath properly email me if you want to talk

Hi melissa! I’m really sorry that you’re going through this scary symptom, but you will definitely be okay. Relax your mind to calm yourself down. I know it’s hard to when your anxiety levels are through the roof but believe me it will work. Let your mind and body know that there is nothing to fear. The mind is very powerful on tricking us.
