Anxiety causing hormone imbalance? Please help!!

Hi,

I have no idea what it is but I've had every anxiety symptom in the book. Tingling numbness foggy mind all of that stuff. But I fear my anxiety has caused something odd with my hormones especially what is showing on my skin. My arm hair has gone way darker than it ever was and I think there's more of it but I'm not sure. And I'm getting so many weird miles and just little marks. No pain and no bumpy skin or anything it's all smooth just weird things popping up. Another weird thing that is happened is that my hands look cracked but they're still smooth, just tiny little lines in them, on top of the usual lines on your palms! I'm a 19 year old man.

Thanks a lot, if anybody else has had these issues please let me know!

I'm not a dr, but I don't think anxiety could cause an imbalance with your hormones. However, a hormonal imbalance could cause anxiety. I would suggest getting blood work done at your dr office, in order to check testosterone etc.. Try not to dwell on the changes that are occurring. This causes your anxiety to increase. Check with a doctor.

I am with grethchen anxieties do not cause hormone problems. It could be your hormones acting up that is causing you anxieties. You are still a young person and hormones can affect us at any age

If I were you talk to your doctor about a blood test

Also, winter dehydrates you. Drink plenty of water, avoide caffeine and watch those lines disappear
