my period is expected to come today or tomorrow (oct 2nd) & all week i have been feeling terrible overwhelming fatigue nausea feeling really faint palpitations no energy at all and honestly it’s so scary cause it’s never been this bad. i’m at work rn but i wanna go home so bad bc is scared i might faint or something. i’m not anemic btw.
Well before/during/after ur period ur body is going through changes and hormones are changing, etc. so I think it's normal to have some heightened anxiety during that time. Sometimes I notice feeling a little more anxious during my period too.
Everything you mentioned can be symptoms of anxiety, so just try and relax a bit and distract urself from feeling nervous =) U shud try going for a walk, or maybe take a nice bath, get comfy on the couch and watch ur fav movie - anything thatll relax u a bit.
It’s normal hun, I get the same way.
I get lightheaded, dizzy, and super duper anxious right before I start. I’m not anemic either so it feels weird but yeah it’s totally normal it’s your hormones for sure.
this fatigue i feel rn is so overwhelming i might just go to sleep for the rest of the night but thank you!!!
Well sleep is good also! lol But just don't get in that lazy mode where u lay in bed all day bc that's not good But if you are tired def try getting a good sleep and see how u feel after.
I feel you. Some of my worst anxiety and panic attacks have occured before or during my period. It can be really scary but telling myself that the anxiety is likely to just be down to my hormones can help me calm down a bit.
Distraction can also help so walks, puzzles, knitting and music are especially a must during my periods but also all the time as I've found that if I'm generally feeling better during the month, my periods have less control over my moods.
Hope you feel better soon but just know that you're not alone
