Has anyone been put on omeprazole for digestive issues and found it makes their anxiety disorder much worse, and if so, what can we do about it?

You do not say how long you have been on this medication allow around five or six weeks before any benefit.
If you have been on the medication over a longer period talk to your GP. However take into consideration the problems associated coming of this med and starting a different one

Hi i take Omeprazole twice a day for Gastritis have done for over a year hasnt made any difference to my anxiety maybe have a word with your doctor x
How do you know it is the tablets causing extra anxiety? I have been taking them for years
Hi. I took omeprazole for acid reflux for a bit and yes, it did make my anxiety worse. Not sure if it's a side effect of the medicine itself or if it is just me being anxious about medication in general
