When I suffer a panic attack I can't move. I freeze and hide under the duvet.
I can feel my nerves tingling all down my legs.
I do what I read in a book about anxiety which was:
Jelly legs will stil take you where you want to go and you won't die if you go out. So, I force myself to go to the supermarket and when I get home feel good that I got out.
It can last a few days and then one day I wake up and feel calm but it's a nightmare when it happens.
Well done, forcing yourself out is a very important step. I would advise you to go to the doctors or a GP. They may be able to perceibe you something or provide you with therapy in order to prevent the attacks.
You need to stay strong, remember that one attack can't make you miserable. You have to carry on. Spend time with family or friends, go outside and just have fun. Apparently with low stress levels attack are reduced
I know what you are feeling I have to deal with it a lot and have been dealing with it for 4 years. I am sorry that you have to go through this as well. I remember when it got so bad one time I almost thought about killing myself but I knew it was not the answer.
I found something that has helped me with my anxiety and panic attacks and though it has not fixed it all the way it has helped me improve.
