Anxiety for months about cardiac arrest. Terrified. Please Reply.

Ok i know I'm irritating because I've made a discussion about this before bit the fear is so strong no matter what nobody says i can't stop thinking about it. Today, I went to see my cardiologist for a follow up on my holter. He gave me another ekg, said that was fine, & said that there were a couple skipped beats but didn't feel concerned at all. He insisted that it was anxiety due to the fact that i told him I was refusing medication he said i should seek therapy. I'm just scared he missed something or that I have a heart problem or somethings gonna happen. Everytime i get up i get an electric shock feeling &i get palpitations. Sometimes when i wake up i get palpitations just from going to the bathroom eventhough i've already had a stress test & an echo. I'm do easily startled too & my heart beats ERRATICALLY. When someone knocks on the door it scares the s**t out of me. I hate being left alone. I don't eat any unhealthy foods because i feel like I might cause my heart to stop. I feel like when i feel palpitations it can stop at any moment. I'm just really scared lol. You're replies would really help.

When i have chest pains & back & side pains i automatically thing i have a blood clot in my lungs. I have a bad problem with catastrophizing & worrying if you haven't noticed lol. (Generalized Anxiety Disorder)

Mind you, I've never had these symptoms this bad until i started googling stuff

I have a similar problem. It started with chest pain that sent me to the ER. I have been told after several EKGs, x Ray, CT scan with contrast, blood tests, a stress test and two more EKGs that my heart is ok. I still get chest pains a month later and I wonder why. Now I'm having full blown panic attacks and taking anxiety meds.

Oh yeah I forgot to mention Google has become my enemy. I end up googling every little thing.

I go through the same thing, they say nothing is wrong but I feel like something is wrong, I worry about my heart so much. I'm going to a doctor that will test hormones and for adrenal fatigue... I suspect that is playing a part. All this anxiety releases hormones in our system and after some time it takes a toll. Normal doctors don't test for this type of stuff. It feels like adrenaline pulsing through me. It is very scary. You are not alone.

I found out that it was just skipped beats LMAO there's nothing wrong with me or you. When i walked in the cardiologist office there was nothing but old people 65+ in there. That's when i knew i was over exaggerating. It nothing serious especially if your young. Believe me. We're 8n the same position. Stop worrying. Drink more water. Excersise. Pray. Meditate. It'll be okay

I was diagnosed with costochrontitis and I think I do have that cause I can recreate the pain by pressing on certain areas of my sternum. I also have been taking the anxiety meds because I noticed everything is worse when I'm all hyped up. I have stopped having the anxiety attacks because I've tried calling down. I have stopped googling every little thing although sometimes I still type it in and check on a few things. I'm working on it.
