I just had this happened to me yesterday and I’m terrified if this is something serious or not. I’m experiencing really bad ear pain everytime I yawn and it hurts really bad. I don’t know how this happened and I want to know what it could be. I can’t sleep from this pain and want to know any helpful suggestions on what I should do about this. Should I see my doctor? I feel like it could be an ear infection.
do you already suffer with anxiety? do you grind your teeth and night? one of the things that happens to me when I have anxiety is I grind me teeth at night, and this results in bad ear pain , so may be possible that this is what is causing your ear pain ?
Hi SHANNY how are you please ear pain is not abig deal but you are suppose to see your doctor.please do it so as to help you identify the cause.but on the other hand relax and take it easy ear pain is not abig deal.all the best.
Yes, I struggled with anxiety for about a good 8 years. I been slowly getting help which I did start seeing a therapist before the pandemic happened but no, I don’t really grind my teeth that much unless I get a chill feel from one of my panic attacks. I just found out that I most likely have an ear infection causing this. Since I have someone in the family who had the very same symptoms as me.
Hello Gilbert, I’m still in pretty bad pain but I did find out what is causing the ear pain, it’s most likely an ear infection that I got only in my left ear which hurts really bad. I’m not sure though on what’s some good home remedies I can do to get rid of the infection for now.
Maybe your sinuses or allergies acting up. My ears are also hurting but not only when i yawn. I know i have fluid in there, so i went and got some mucinex and Claritin. But this happens to me because its pollen season and it inflames my sinuses and causes post nasal drip and fluid in my ears. I am also an ear picker/ swabber, I use Q tips to clean out the dried crap in there, and sometimes it ends up hurting my ear drum for a few days. I am sure its nothing serious, and if the over the counter meds i suggested dont work for you, it may be an ear infection and you should see your doctor for some amoxycylin.
They have appliances to stop you grinding your teeth. Ask your dentist.
