I will try be brief but i was ill back in April Flu turned straight to pneumonia had several chest infections and took months to start feeling any better i was off my feet unable to walk for months 3 weeks ago Doctor suggested anxiety tablets so i agreed cant hurt. i began taking the tablets and after 3 days felt 50% better i was amazed with this as i didnt think it was anxiety but then sadly we lost our Grandaughter to Meningitis and i seem to be worse than ever i am so tense all day but night time wake up 6/7 times at least grinding my teeth clenching fists tight chest and chest pain sweat dripping off me too i dont think the doctor will do anything as he will probably say due to losing my Grandaughter its to be expected but i cant go on like this. Do i wait until after the funeral next week or go see the Doctor now please help x
Helen, I am so sorry. You have had to endure so much. Your doctor may be able to prescribe a more potent temporary medication to help you relax and sleep. I would call him. All he can say is no. Nothing is going to take away the pain you are feeling for your granddaughter though. I will pray for you. (((Hugs)))
Thank you yes i think i will speak to the Doctors tomorrow like you say cant hurt anything all they can say is continue with Tablets i have x
Usually anti anxiety medication will take 2-6 weeks to take full effect from what I’ve researched. You could call a doctor for a temporary prescription for immediate anxiety attacks such as Valium or Xanax. Sorry to hear of your loss, hope things get better.
