Anxiety Gone without medicines

**I was prescribed Escitaloprám 10 mg for 3 months by doctor. Thanks to this forum where I got to know that medicines may help but only for short term so under the doctors observation I decided to try all workarounds and then jump onto medicines. Able to manage in past 2 months without a single tablet and seems things are improving now ( Pray for me I need your blessings ) ** **Before ( 30 yr old Male / Normal Blood Pressure 140/90 +: I was always under some chest pain , shortness of breath , light headedness and always used to feel like I am drunk ( like body is not under fully control ) . I have gone through lot many tests almost everything you can imagine and wasted lots of money but still nothing worked out and no one was able to figure out why my blood pressure was getting up. You can even find my previous posts here on this forum **Now ( Normal blood pressure 130/80) Here is what I did to fight against my anxiety : - Figured out pattern , time of day , things which were trigger points for symptoms - Convinced my mind to fight against those trigger points. My trigger points were like : Fear of being lonely in home ( thoughts were like what if something happens to me ) , Fear of driving alone , fear of Health issues - Improved my SLEEP cycle time. Forcing myself to be in bed for 8 hours - Avoid cell phones , tabs or any electronic media and focusing on reading more books ( anything , any topic ) - Watch everyday all videos , photos of my past time while I was fit and fine just to boost my confidence. Medication , Yoga were major things which contributed a lot I think. I am still not fully recovered but I think anxiety is just in our mind and sometimes your negative thoughts can make it worse.. I will keep you posted. Sharing this just because I understand the pain of being lonely without social life , career just because of anxiety

Nice try. If you are symptom free now, it will rear its ugly head again eventually, and then you have to wait to get into a psyciatrist for months before he will see you and get more meds. i know because i thought the same thing as you. then it came back and i was stuck without help. had togo to emergency room in order to get meds to help.

not a very postive, supportive post.

be more helpful next time.

praying for you and proud of you

You are absolutely right. There is always a risk but I just gave try to help my body to build an immune system to fight against something which is not real.

Thank you so much for your support and kind words. God bless you
