6 days ago i had my first panic attack out of nowhere and since then my symptoms have only gotten worse. I thankfully havent had a panic attack today but I have had tunnel vision thats lasted all day so far ever since last night after a 3 hour long rolling panic attack episode. I also have a dull headache that comes and goes and feel very weak. I have an appointment with my doctor in five days but im scared i might have something like a brain tumor or even a parasite. Can anyone with anxiety relate to these symptoms or does it sound like it might be something else?
EDIT: to clarify: last night i had rolling panic attacks for 3 hours and since then my vision has stayed the same as it was during the panic attacks. Its been about 20 hours and my vision hasnt changed. Its a really uncomfortable tunnel vision and I feel very disconnected with my surroundings because of it.
Hi im sure its a panic attack try not to worry, I know its easier said than done but take it easy deep breaths and try stay calm
But i know how it is when i have panic attacks and i just feel more off and disconnected than anxious its like how i am when im not having a panix attack except my head hurts and ive had tunnel vision for about 20 hours is that common in anxiety disorders?
Your doing the right thing getting checked by the doc, it does sound like anxiety
and it is difficult, a combination of medication therapy, exercise and a good diet.
Also when you are having an attack try and keep busy it makes it pass quicker
Take Care
I know how you feel. To be honest once you have a panic attack, you ruminate and anticipate the next one. Thats how panic attacks work. I recommend that you discuss your feelings with your doctor, try to get blood work to rule out any physical illness, and or chemical thyroid imbalance. If your blood work is good, recommend you talk with a mental health specialist.
