Well I knew it my daughter's smear came back showing abnormal cells it says moderate high grade. So now I have this to deal with . I hate life and it's a good job I don't have the courage to end it all . I know it sounds dramatic but really have had enough of bloody sweating feeling sick and shaky
.sorry just really fed up.
Yes i understand you Claire. I had a test to come back once like your daughter but then later on it was nothing. Hope things get better.
I know where you are coming from. I trained as a nurse and having had ovarian cancer , dysgrminoma, many years ago know how these feelings. Mine was caught in time as it was discovered accidentally at surgery.
Fortunately technology has come on in leaps and bounds and I understand that there are successful treatments even if the cells were proven to be malignant.
My sister had very successful laser treatment about twenty years ago for abnormal cervical cells.
Just wish to say that abnormal cells are often found and may not mean any malignancy. There is a lot of hope even in the eventuality of a malignancy .
I ring the SAMARITANS when I feel desperate and things seem hopeless. Their no is 116 1234, freephone.
Weare here for you. Glad you wrote to us all.
