Has anyone suffered anxiety and not been able to sleep. There are manny soultions to this.
Yes, most of my anxiety comes at night and keeps me awake. I find if I distract myself by drawing or doodling it helps as before long I realise I'm no longer thinking of anything. Other wise, I just lie there analysing every breath and twinge my body makes. Bad nights I put the tv on as a distraction too.
At times i would draw pictures late at night if i was suffering anxiety and insomnia. It helped me sleep back then. I also used to play the piano i would get lost for hours playing the piano until 5 or 6 in the morning. However when i started to work back when i was 16 i found i drifted away from the things that helped me. Sorry i accidently pressed send. I was turning into a man. I couldnt understand what was going on in my body. I used to exercise to battle the anxiety i was going through. I then started to have health anxiety which was horrible. I can understand what its like for the people on this website. Insomnia for me become the norm.
