Anxiety is back.

hey all. so ive been managing my anxiety well lately. its been going well for a few months but yesterday i spoke about my mother’s in law death which was what all started my anxiety to begin with and now im so nervous and scared. im having all sorts of weird symptoms and im fighting of panic attacks. my family doesnt understand what i go thru and theyre always impatient with me when im like this. i feel so hopeless. im so scared for my health. i know that what im feeling is cuz of my anxiety but i just cant shake the feeling. any advice?

I’m sorry you’re feeling that way. Those of us with anxiety completely understand. It can cause negative scary thoughts. Other people truly do not understand what it’s like. So really it’s up to us how we handle it because nobody else can really know how we feel.
Please don’t feel hopeless. Anxiety and it’s weird symptoms are not harmful. it’s just like any other condition such as diabetes, , high blood pressure,. We have to learn how to manage it.
i highly suggest that you speak with a counselor. Anxiety is the number one reason people see counselors and they know how to help you manage this. It’s difficult to do alone and it really helps and feels good to talk to somebody about it! They are not
judgemental they just want to help! especially if you don’t have support at home.
try not to get too not to get too worked up about it because it makes everything worse such as the symptoms. When you are feeling panicky, that’s when you need some support. If you search on YouTube for something called stop panic attack now, and then scroll down to one called don’t panic in black bold letters, she will guide you through the panic attack. It’s very effective!
sometimes medication can help but you have to give it a good 6 to 8 weeks for full effect. You can talk to your doctor about that. In the meantime, try to relax your mind as much as you can. There’s lots of great meditations for anxiety on YouTube. Do things that relax you. I do hope you feel better but really consider speaking with a counselor! Go to regular sessions if you can . Take care
