Hi Ladies!
After I had a huge cysts in my fallopian tubes removed with the tube it seems to have pushed me into more peri symptoms even though I have my ovaries. My anxiety is so bad. I get afraid to even go to work and do things. I have pushed myself to live a normal life and I am taking Zoloft which has helped some, Ive been taking it for years to calm down my PMS. Any ideas how to stop the anxiety? Its not me and I miss the old me. I am working out and really trying to eat clean and be healthy. If I have a few drinks Im back to the carefree me but good lord! I cant drink everyday and become an alcoholic!!! LOL joking... Any ideas? This is now making me annoyed.
Try Spirulina. Around Easter I started taking this for my hair. But I noticed that I was more laid back and calm--it's a pleasant feeling! You might want to do some research and try. It is a superfood that is healthy. Sure, I still get anxious at times but not like before.
Thank you ! I will try it! Glad it’s working for you
Hi DeeDee, I’m going through the same thing - for half the month I have crippling anxiety with feelings of dread that I just have to distract myself and keep busy - mornings are the worst for me, so I just try to get through and take rescue remedy lozenges when I feel overwhelmed and breathe and think that I just have to get through and I can relax in the evening, but it is so hard when your brain is telling you to be scared, literally the hardest thing I’ve ever had to cope with. You’re doing all the right things, and it is nice to have a few drinks if that helps you relax, th
Sorry accidentally pressed reply ! So I can’t offer a magic solution, but just relish the good days - I get about 10 good days a month at the moment - is that the same for you? I’m starting hrt next cycle as well, as my FSH is going up and oestrogen down which is making my periods really light, I’m hoping it will help - maybe you should look into that? Take care x
Yes! Anxiety has become the most difficult symptom to handle for me. I used to be so much more capable than this. Lots of work stress and extended family drama over the years that I handled with ease and now I find myself getting panic attacks over really trivial things...or nothing at all. I’ve thought of trying medication, but I fear starting something and not being able to stop - or not knowing when to stop - given how long meno symptoms last. It’s really hard at work, I agree!
Hi Deedee
Have you tried bioidentical progesterone cream? You can get it at health food stores and don't have to go through a doctor. I'm not sure how old you are, but progesterone is the first level to start dropping in peri, then estrogen, and unless you're very thin without a lot of body fat, sometimes just taking the progesterone will help fix alot of symptoms.
Its simple and inexpensive fix for PMS. Also doctor john lee who was an expert in hormone balance, has many good books and also his website has articles. You can also get many good anxiety supplements at the health food store.
Hope you feel better soon!
I am sorry your going through this also! Morning are the worst for me as well. I hope your start feeling better! We just have to keep trying!
The medicine has helped allot with the pms in my early years but i think this new hormone issue is totally different.
