So Today i had a Manometry done....That is a Small Procedure done at the Dr.s office ..The Dr. Puts a Tube which has Several sensors Down your Nose to your Stomache.....It Was Kinda bad at first!. I did not want any numbing meds. So I tried the first time & Panic took over!. The Dr. Removed the Tube. I Asked her to give me a minute as i calmed down....Took a deep breathe, & I remembered why the heck i have to do this. So I said "Ok, Lets Do this!"
I was still kinda shaky. My Anxiety was on level 20 by now, but I put on some music before We tried it again. I love the Album from the movie "SHAPE OF WATER" it calms me so much😍After she inserted the tub, i laid back, and Stared at the wall. I froze until the Dr. Finished the Test...It was Scary as Hell.at first!. The tube burns alittle when going into your nose, Most people get Lidocaine, so You may not feel all that ..It took about 2o minutes or so. I had to get it done so Like i said i stayed Frozen...Lol. Anxiety makes you afraid of Everything!. & You have to fight back, and Say "NOT TODAY DEMON!" Im home now.....Its been a few hours...My chest is Sore. I think bcuz i may have Esophagus issues, so You may not be sore after the Test....I Ate a Cough drop and it helps ease that discomfort alot!.
Good luck if anyone is getting this Test. Its not that bad. Relax!. And Yes, u can breathe even if the tube is in your nose.....
Its just Uncomfortable, & u can feel the tube in ur throat. Just Listen to music. Its pretty quik!. Any questions?. Just Ask 😉
