hello I'm 30 and I've been on duloxetine 90mg for maybe 6 months now and recently I've been waking up drenched in sweat every night and its embarrassing does anyone have this ? I wanna call my doctor but I'm scared to because the medication itself is helping very very well with my anxiety this sweating is the only downside of it
yes, oh definitely, I rather the sweat than the anxiety..
so you have experienced this ?
yes, I still get it now.. but if its bothering you, speak to doctors...
it doesnt bother me but it's just embarrassing
Bless ya, they will run out of deodorant soon with us..😁
I'm afriad i can't offer advice, but I've also been prescribed duloxetine for anxiety as an add on to pregabalin. Since starting taking duloxetine, about 7 months ago, my anxiety problem is definitely worse, and I'm having lots of flashback dreams and waking up every morning with panic attack type symptoms which are very unpleasant and takea whilse to ease off. My psych. 's response is to keep incresing the dose of pregabalin, rather than looking at whether or not the duloxetine is causing the increased problems. I'm currently taking 90mg of it in the morning, and I've read in online forums that it is very hard to withdraw from, so it's definitely not something we should t ry to stop taking all at once on our own, without medical advice and support. I've been thinking about trying to see another psych., going private, to get a second opinion on my treatment, and advice on my reactions with this particular drug. I actually came onto this forum tonight to see whether anyone else was experiencing problems or doing really well on it.
Hi. ..If the meds are working well sometimes you have to put up with some side effects, sweating is a very common side effect and it could still pass.
I agree with you regarding both these tablets. DULOXETINE hasnt done anything for me to help my anxiety and panic attacks. Iam hoping that my doctor will change them for some other tablets. When i wake up in the morning i feel very anxious. Hope this helps you.
