Anxiety melt down

Anxiety has once again took a firm hold, tearfulness, jitters, very low mood and sleeplessness. My anxiety goes from 0-100 way too quickly, it's like the worrysome thought gets on a galloping horse and before I get chance to stop it it has thrown me into a wall. Back to docs as natural therapies not helping. 150mg Trazodone prescribed. Does anyone have any tips for not worrying too much and reducing anxiety? Thanks in advance

Read this book “The Anxiety & Phobia Workbook (6th edition)”. I just read it, it’s a very easy read and it’s sooo interesting, I wish I read it years ago!

It gives you tons of info on anxiety, why we get it, examples of common fears and why they are silly, and then it also gives you ways to calm yourself and cope (deep breathing exercises, meditation exercises, etc.). I found it so reassuring to read, the whole time reading I was like omg yep that’s what I get… oh wow that’s EXACTLY what I worry about… haha. I’m not a big book person but someone recommended this one to me and I’m so glad I read it.
