Anxiety off the chart after going from 20 mg prozac to 40 mg .

Was on 20 mg prozac for several months and seemed to quit working. Dr jumped my dosage to 40 mg and am more anxious now than i was when i was on 20 mg and the side effects stink. Dont need a sermon on how bad the meds are for us. Just want feed back from experiences with prozac. 40 mg seems to be kicking my butt

Don't know about Prozac.. but if you will increase the dose you will have to deal with side effects and Prozac is very strong

Does sound as though your medication needs reviewing. SIe effects are not something to put up wi5th in my opinion and indicate problems thatmay become serious long term. Sorry but have u read the latest research findings into SSRIs and other ad? Take care.

Lots of nasty side effects and takes ages to wean off.

I have read about the SSRIs and thats why i have a dr appointment in the morning.
