So since Sunday or Monday, I noticed I have been weirdly focused on my breathing. It's like I am out of breath sometimes. Other times I am fine. Behind my house, there is a hotel that repaved their parking lot and it smells like pure asphalt. horrible smell. I walk out of my house and i can smell it. Also I am dog sitting a long hair dog. I kept her last year and didn't have these issues. When I went running this week, I felt really winded afterward more than usual. I was not weezing or coughing however. I am thinking I might have asthma or whatever but I went running last night for a half a mile and ran at a 6:48 pace. I didn't feel super tired though. I would think If I had EIB then i would have been weezing and coughing afterwards. Has anyone every encountered this before. I have never had issues with asthma or breathing. I feel fine right now as I am writing this. I might go and get checked my doctor just to be sure but I do know anxiety can mess with your breathing.
anxiety can definitely mess with your breathing. but just for your peace of mind, go get yourself checked out. Do you normally have anxiety? One thing that is helpful is listening to a short mindfulness meditation for breathing on YouTube. it really helps relax everything. You’ll be OK but be sure to tell the doctor about the parking lot issue and the dog.
