Anxiety or blockage in breathing??

i know anxiety causes alot of weird symptoms but i need more advice and opinions. i have 24/7 anxiety and panic it was never this bad. i was taking celexa than effexor for literally 8 years which kept me st bay mentally. i was taking 225 mh of effexor but it was helping anymore. whats weird is when im at home sitting still i get lightheded, breathing problems, facial and hand twitches but when im moving its not that bad really. im 31 only 200 pounds and my cardio is awful i dont smoke. i cant tell if its anxiety OR if its scarring of my windpipe and i cant breathe, or abdominal pressure pushing into ur lungs causing breathing problems? because whenever i eat my breathing and panic is way worse just minutes after eating!

anxiety could definitely be contributing especially when you are getting twitching because that is very common. Also the difficulty breathing, panic anxiety.
However the first thing to do is to get a complete physical check up with your doctor to make sure nothing else is going on. I can’t think of a reason why your wind pipe would be scarred.
if you have a check up and they can’t find anything wrong, then you can blame it on anxiety and stress.

yes ive done quote a few tests. blood work they sayis fine but they dont check vitamin d which is rediculous because it can contribute bigtime to mental health. ekg and cheat x rays say i am. blood work they say is fine im not diebetic etc. i have an i take appointment for a phychatrist onthe 18th. and thN ill have to wait a few weeks to get it. it is very tough waiting that long.

I also used to get light-headed, and still sometimes do. I watched a professor’s lesson on anxiety and how it affects our brain, and she made a huge connection between our thoughts + our shallow breathing which causes light-headedness + the neurons in our brains that causes misfires (severe anxiety and panic causes our neurons to misfire) and it can cause a whole list of physical symptoms in our brains, nervous system, and our physical body as a whole. Best of luck!
