Hi i am a 28 year old female and suffer from anxiety i am on medication for this. Over the past couple of months i uave been having these ‘episodes’ basically what happens is a really strange feeling comes over me like i cant breath. I get palpitations and i feel like i cant swallow. I have had a 24 hrs ecg which was normal but im still not convinced its just anxiety. Can anyone recommend any other tests i should ask my gp for?

I’ve had the same problems. I’m taking lexapro 10 mg it helps a little bit.Thinking about getting the higher dose.Ive had several ekg’s,lots of blood work, ct scans,chest xray’s,stress test,echo and they went to an ablation but couldn’t find anything.So you are not alone with this.Im a over the road truck driver and I have a hard time trying to do my job because of my anxiety a lot times I just want stay home but I can’t I have a family to support so I have to try and tuff it out but it’s very hard.I hope you feel better
I have similar issues. I get a lot of chest pains and palpitations. Sometimes, the palpitations feel like they are sucking the air out of my lungs. It's really scary. I've had physical check ups and blood work and the doctors say I'm perfectly fine with no need for cardiac testing. I'm still worried though.
Sorry for the late reply i have been trying to stay if the ibternet incase ut is anxiety but i just dont feel like it is and i feel terrified something bad is wrong xxx
