Anxiety or not

Hi all last couple of days i have constant vertigo or dizziness.also chest pain that last whole day and also chest flutter.been to er 2 times ecg and bloodwork all come back normal.

Hi Francois it sounds very much like anxiety. I have suffered over a year with health anxiety I have all the symptoms of what you have and many more. Breathing excises really work and listening to music also helps me x

Thanks for the reply i seem to have so many different symptoms different times.i will just drive and next moment will start sweating for no reason.been to ER more the i can remember have a big file allready.and all they say every time is anxiety but im struggling to believe it.

It's hard to believe all these symptoms are anxiety but believe me they are. I have suffered on and off for about 18 years with it. I've learnt to control it most of the time now x

WOW!!18 years I'm only 16 years old and been suffering for 1 year and I'm loosing my mind..

Wow im also 16 and i had anxiety for like a year and a half

I go through this intermittently.  I'm currently dealing with it.  I've been to the ER a few times recently myself, everything checked out.  The dizziness, sense of vertigo, and palpitations all can be caused by anxiety.  I find the dizziness really comes into play after you've been in a prolonged state of anxiety, your brain starts to become accustomed to being in that state of mind and you get stuck in a loop that can difficult to break out of.

You could try to go see some specialists to get peace of mind, I'm going to see a cardiologist soon, but in a way that's kind of feeding into it.  The chances of relatively young (I'm assuming you aren't elderly) people getting perfectly normal test results, but having some obscure and undetected condition are incredibly low.  Accepting it's anxiety is basically the first part of the recovery process.

I always recommend therapy, a lot of people dismiss it, but cognitive behavioral therapy can be extremely helpful.  Having a mental health professional talk you through the issue can help you to realize what's actually going on and break you out of this belief system you've constructed.

Sorry  i didnt put my age im 41 year old white male.i also get it when i am driving think it is the fear of something happening when i am far from everything.
