Anxiety or sepsis

Hi everyone. Hoping someone may be able to offer some insight. Bit of background, I do suffer with bouts of anxiety and often confuse serious illnesses with my anxiety. About a month ago i was eating when I bit into something hard and I noticed that either one of my tooth fillings had come out or at least half of it had. I kind of just left it as I work full and its hard to get to the dentist because my boss moans. Anyway 2 weeks ago I finally made an appointment because I was sick of food getting into the gap etc but my dentist cant see me till 19th September Now I am worried I may have left it too late and I could have got an infection which has now turned to a blood infection/sepsis. For the last few weeks I have been getting heart flutters and my heartbeat is often around 110 (I have a (fitbit) plus I gets periods where i feel slightly light headed and it feels like I cant concentrate or focus properly, I don't have any toothache or swelling but if the nerve and body of the tooth had already been previously drilled out and replaced with a filling then there would be no pain anyway would there? my mums friend has recently been diagnosed with sepsis and when I googled the symptoms I had a few of them including having a bad belly last week. And I have another 2 weeks yet till my dentist appointment. I dont know if I should be going A&E or if it's just my anxiety.

Hi you must stop stressing i have had half of tooth which fell out months ago, you must stop googling as this will only add to your stress, the days go quick enough without wishing your life away until dental appointment, you should not get anxiety over sepsis, as you would be very ill with this, live for today and not might happen in the future, wait to see dentist and stop fretting you will be fine xxx

if you had an infection you would most likely have a fever and feel tired and sick. People get Belly aches all the time usually from eating the wrong things. it’s very common.
all you need to do now is to keep the area clean. You can rinse out with a little hydrogen peroxide and water combination. Don’t swallow it just swish it around for about 10 to 15 seconds then spit it out.
dont go out online and look it up. It won’t pertain to your situation.
you have a very common symptoms of anxiety. Your heartbeat is not too fast it’s just indicating that you are anxious. The fact that you get lightheaded and can’t focus is another very common symptom of anxiety. You need to try to calm down your mind. Stop thinking about things that make you anxious and stay busy doing other things. You’re going to be fine. Believe me you would know it if you had an infection because you would definitely be uncomfortable and feel pain. Just work on reducing your anxiety .there are some great meditations for anxiety on YouTube. They completely relaxed me and all my symptoms go away. Hang in there!

Can’t you see another dentist, maybe go for a private one? Though if theres no pain you should be OK and I am a worrier about tooth pain too.

Best to avoid Googling symptoms or diseases. i try not to.
