hello everyone, this is my first post. im super scared. ill give you the details of who i am then explain whats happening. im a 34 yr old male. i have type 1 dietbetes. i have anxiety but not too bad? im a healthy body wait i work out a few times a week on average. im on a really on a small dose of suboxone about 25% of a 2 mg pill. for about a year or so. 2 weeks ago i was doing a chest work out on those universal workout machines. right after my heart area or shall i say my upper left chest area started to have sharp pain or shooting pain . went to hospitl 2 weeks ago did to of those ekg test or watever they are called and then 2 blood test i was there for 8 hours and everything is good. the following monday i do a stress test and im good. a week later same pains same test im good. its been a week now and everyday the pain comes and goes sometimes i feel pain in arm and leg. then it gives me anxiety and my heart races. im scared dont know what to do

First thing is update your doctor to ongoing symptoms.
Secondly, anxiety is notorious for creating chest pains.
Third, as an anxiety sufferer, once your mind focuses on a particular body area that you perceive to be causing problems it can generate ‘somatic’ pain (pain that is mind generated and doesn’t actually come from a physical problem) which can be difficult to diagnose.
The extra anxiety generated by the pain can cause more pain which causes more anxiety and so on. .
Also as you use resistance machines during training there is a strong chance the pain may be muscular as there are many muscles around the area you describe such as intercostal between the ribs and pectoral on the chest also the diaphragm is a web of interconnected muscles.
