Anxiety over Lymph Node issues.

So for the past 2 weeks both Lymph Nodes on the sides of my neck (sort of under my jaw) have been swollen and feel hard, but still "movable" and it feels like there's pressure against them so it feels like my throat is closing up and I have pain on either side it just depends on the day... when I swallow it feels like I have a lump in the side of my throat. All of this is mainly on the left side but I do have the soreness on the right side too. I'm just so worried that it's Lymohoma or Throat cancer. I need reassurance:(

Hey get checked for strep throat or mononucleosis

Sometimes if you’re fighting off a bug the glands in your neck can swell and become sore, you feel it when you swallow, but it may never become a cold etc. Ask yourself if you’re run down, or have been a bit under the weather, do people around you have colds, are you eating healthily and getting the right vitamins to help your body fight something off, drinking enough water, getting enough rest?

Ultimately though don’t let fear of being told something scary stop you from seeing a doctor if you’re worried. No one online can see you or diagnose you, so please see a doctor if you can. But I personally have experienced this many times, my immune system is dreadful and my Mum was a nurse and I learned a lot from how she’s looked after me!

I hope you feel better soon!
