I've had panic attacks but am now worried about if they where something else here is how my panic goes I was walking and all of a sudden I had a intense feeling of dead for a few seconds it felt like I went unconscious I don't know how to word it is this normal oh btw after I had the normal symtoms unreal shakiness hard to breath etc
It sounds exactly like anxiety, George. Have you spoken to your GP about this? They can provide you with treatment.
Yes I got a physical examination they said I have a anxiety disorder but I'm very worried what if I. Have a undecided illness is it normal with a panic attack to feel for a few seconds really odd like you just died for a few seconds ??
You weren't on the floor or unconscious or anything? You can get 'brain fog', confusion, disorientation and lose sense of reality with anxiety. As you're worrying about a possible underlying illness, it sounds like you may have a touch of health anxiety also. Your symptoms do sound like why I've experienced with anxiety, but definitely ask your GP if you're still worried. Are you being treated for anxiety, or have they just diagnosed you? Because it definitely needs to be treated.
No I wasn't on the floor I was totally conscious and yeah my main anxiety is health I'm awake about 7hrs a night worrying about my heart Brain etc then I google it and read all the symtoms and go into panic and yes they said i need to be treated ASAP I'm getting therapy because I wouldn't go to doctors about it I case they diagnosed me with some sort of cancer or something instead of anxiety my anxiety is so bad that I plan my funeral because I'm certain I'm going to die within a day or so.
It definitely sounds like health anxiety. But who has diagnosed you, if you've not been to see your GP about your symptoms? There are lots of different therapies they can advise you on (not just talking about your feelings- many therapies are specifically for anxiety and are really effective)
