Anxiety physical symptoms are through the roof....

This has been going on almost 7 weeks now. My anxiety has completely debilitated me. I am constantly shaky and lightheaded. My head feels so full and foggy and I'm super nauseated, like my stomach is burning. But it's really the dizziness and lightheadedness constantly thats getting to me.. its hard to even stand up. I'm only 24, i'm on Zoloft and its not doing anything....

I completely feel your pain. I’m only 20 and my health anxiety has completely debilitated me. I have a constant fear that I’m going to pass out and that I have a brain tumor. I shake and worry everyday. My appetite is gone and I can’t stop crying, I’ve completely secluded myself from my family. Anxiety is the worst.

I feel the same way

absolutely it is

Hi there, has your doctor :face_with_medical_mask: checked you out for vertigo? A condition of the inner ear that can make a person feel very light headed and shaky and head foggyness and very nauseated and it can last a long time but there’s a medication called cerc that is stronger than gravol that is prescribed by doctors which is supposed to help with all of these symptoms but it also could be from your high level of anxiety too so you need to get back to see your doctor asap and you’ve only been able on zoloft for 7weeks is that correct? What doseage do you take? If you have only been on it for 7weeks keep in mind that it can take up to 6-8 weeks to take the full effect so maybe it needs increased. Do you have a regular psychiatrist that you see or just a family doctor :face_with_medical_mask: because a psychiatrist better trained at dealing with mental health issues than a family doctor so if you don’t have one then get your family doctor to refer you to one asap

I’ve been on Zoloft for months, and recently upped to 50mg

Hi there, that’s the same dose that I take. My psychiatrist did increase it to 75mg but it made my anxiety worse so I just seen her last Tuesday morning and she decreased it back down to 50mg but I find that it makes me drowsy during the day so I called my pharmacist and told her that and she told me to start taking at bedtime so that’s what I’m going to start doing starting tonight. Do you take your zoloft at night or during the day and does it make you feel sleepy . Is it helping you out at all with your anxiety and do you have depressed too or just the anxiety? And if you suffer from depression is the zoloft helping you out with your symptoms of depression at all and do you feel that zoloft is making your anxiety better or worse. I started off almost a year ago on 12.5mg then went up to 25mg and now ivd been on50mg for the past six months now and it helps me out with my symptoms of my depression but trust me when I say that I still have really bad days and I think  anyone who suffers from severe depression and anxiety always will. I take 0. 5 mg of clonazepam 4x a day for my anxiety and panic attacks and I also takenoxinonfor my severe insomnia and topiramate for a mood stabilizer during the day and at night and 60mg of temazepam at night. That is how severe my insomnia is. Everyone in my family has severe insomnia so it’s hereditary. Maybe you should go back to your doctor or if you have a regular psychiatrist that you see that would be even better because regular doctors aren’t trained enough to deal with mental health issues and they definitely don’t know a lot about antidepressant meds so if you don’t have a regular psychiatrist then simply ask for a referral from your doctor to get into see a psychiatrist on a regular basis asap in the meantime go back to whatever doctor started you on the zoloft and tell them how you are feeling you might need something in a low dose like Ativan or something like that to get you through your high level of care anxiety because high levels of can be crippling and debilitating. Keep me posted on your progress please and best of luck with everything… Everything will get better soon for you hun :100: .. Remember that you have to weather the storm before you can see the sunshine and the rainbow :rainbow: waiting for you on the other side. Xoxo
