Anxiety really bad about a job interview

So I’ve had anxiety for many years now I’ve taken lots of steps to over come some of my darkest times I would say but I applied for a job and I’ve got an interview (I was feeling ready in myself to take this step) but for the past week now my anxiety has been super high again I’m worrying I know people get nervous and that’s pretty normal, but I’m having panic attacks again I’m worrying what if I get the job do it wrong, people don’t like me, I don’t make any new friends, has anyone else delt with the same thing and how did you get by ? Thank you.

Well done on getting an interview!

It's natural anxiety will shoot up again during this time but the main piece of advice I'd give is focus only on the things you have coming up in a day. If it's a thought past a day, let it go. You can't prepare for a future you don't know about yet.

If you get the job, you'll learn to do it. They won't expect you to pick it up in the first week.

Making friends? I've learned long ago that having amicable colleagues is the aim. I get on well with my peers but I've given up the pressure of trying to make friends. If people like me, they like me. If they don't, that's ok too. So long as we're all professional. At the end of the day, I'm there to work and I have my close friends outside of work.

Thank you for you’re reply, you’re completely right I just worry and panic about every little thing you’re reply really helped I guess all I can do is try and take it from there.
