Hi does anyone have anemia that is causing their anxiety and depression? I have a lot of symptoms close to anemia and I would like to hear about it from someone else...
symptoms:
dizziness / vertigo
lightheaded (not always)
very weak legs
shortness of breath doing anything
racing heart rate while walking and standing
a lot of hair loss
headaches
insomnia
and a lot of anxiety and depression

Yes, that is how mine has started up again. I had a baby on Aug 4th and my iron was very low I had all those symptoms. Didn't know it was my iron I was Googlein all sorts of other illness that it may could be. Then I had to go get infusions which I had a reaction during the second one cause me to start having panic attacks bad again.
Im sorry to hear that why did you have a reaction to it?
I'm not sure some people have a bad reaction to venefor and terrible side effects so I had anxiety going into get them anyways but my iron stores were so low the dr. Thought it would be worth the risk. But I've been having panic attacks ever since that day I sometimes feel my throat was closing up again they said that it's called Globus sensation. Also heart palpation also. Trouble eating and swallowing also so I had an upper endoscopy tue, was diagnosed with IBS, tried to start meds but had to much anxiety had to stop after first day.
Go and see your dr and get a blood test done that will tell you if your anemic
