Hello i'm 15 years old and female. I was diagnosed with anxiety disorder when i was 11 and that same year i started taking Zoloft. I am on 100mg of zoloft now i weigh 88lbs and i am 4'10. I've always been a bit lightheaded but within the past two weeks i've been constantly lightheaded and i've had multiple panic attacks per day. I thought my anxiety was so much better because before this i hadn't had a panic attack since i was 13. Is the lightheadedness anxiety, and if so what can i do to get rid of it or stop it. It is constant and interfering with my life.
Hiya , I do feel dizzy and lightheaded due to anxiety. It might be side effect of medications makong you feel like this . Are you eating or drinking enough ? Maybe its worth to talk to your doctor about it ? Xx
Yes it can be caused by anxiety. Many people get this. When you are anxious your brain sends out a hormone called adrenaline which can cause lightheadedness or dizziness. So you need to calm down your brain.
I like meditations found on you tube for anxiety. They totally calm down my mind and body.
They also have meditations for panic 🌸🌸🌸
Hi yes lightheadedness is a classic anxiety symptom but do go and see your GP to get things checked out esoecially your blood pressure as if it's on the low side this also can cause lightheadedness. Do you feel dizzy when you stand up?
