so for the past few days my anxiety has been down. I know anxiety is up and down but for those who have 'gotten rid of' or know how to manage their anxiety well, do body sensations still persist for a long while after even though your anxiety has been down for a while???
being a veteran of anxiety, the answer is yes. My anxiety started when I was five so it’s been a very long time. Although I did not get the physical sensations until I was in my 20s. They terrified me at that time but nothing was wrong with me except that I had anxiety build up since a child.
The symptoms anxiety are not harmful, they’re just a consequence of having anxiety and stress. I know they feel weird but they are simply telling you there is an underlying anxiety. The body can only take so much anxiety and stress and then you will see physical symptoms.
So even years later, if I am anxious about anything or sometimes not anxious I may get a symptom here or there but I basically ignore it and it goes away on its own. If I stress about it it gets worse. just let it be and don’t make a big deal about it.
The main thing to do is learn how to manage anxiety so that you have less symptoms. Taking care of yourself in every way is very important in fighting off stress and it builds up the immune system to fight it. Eat healthy, exercise, socialize, stay busy! ![]()
I generally find Anxiety can vary, however if you feel a period of positive mood has been entered into enjoy it, try not to question any positive changes that have been handed down to you ENJOY.
