It seems many people with anxiety wonder why they are experiencing what they are experiencing. I and many others have physical symptoms. I get a weird painful sensation behind my eyes, tingling in my forehead and in my cheeks, random body twitching, and fast heart rate. I am so used to these things, it is just part of my existence. Someone who had never been through this would wonder what the hell was going on if any of this started happening to them. I know many of you have a lot more symptoms than I have. I wish I had went to more doctors for tests when I still had insurance. What medical tests have you had done? Have you found anything to explain your anxiety and what you are going through? Pheochromocytoma? Hyperthyroidism? MRIs? X-rays? Celiac disease?
hi... i know how worst it is when you are going though that segment of life. m suffering from anxiety for one year. i feel like god punishing me for something wrong i did. my frsr panic attack lead me to hospital emergency. i believed that i wad dying that day. for last 6/7 month i didn't had any panic attacks. but last night i had a major panic attack. i was so nervous i can't explain with words. i don't know why we are like this. i feel bad sometimes that m unable to live a normal life. i also get breathing problems only because of fear. what you are doing now to get over it. please give me any kind of suggestions.
If I knew how to get over it, I probably would not be on this forum. I have tried therapy as well as lexapro, zoloft, effexor, and seroquel. The drugs maybe help a slight amount, but nothing has been able to give me my life back. I want to see some doctors but I'm poor, jobless, and have no health insurance. I've also had an MRI of my head. Everything was normal except for a cyst found in my maxillary sinus. I actually think the cyst might be causing some pain in my face and around my eye. If it's still there, I would like to get it removed. Other than that, I have no idea what to do. My thyroid levels have come back normal 3 times as well. What else to look for?

Work trough it live a relaxing enjoyable life instead of your mind tricking you to think there is something to worry about and then getting pumped if unwanted Adrenalin which tires you mentally and physically and gives you unexplained body surprises
The only way to win against anxiety is
1. Accept you have a disorder
2. Educate yourself correctly on anxiety
3. Deal with therapy not medication
4. Overcome with lifestyle changes
5. Live anxiety free ( bliss )

This response doesn't answer my questions in any way.
Hi, newbie here. Have suffered from anxiety for almost five months after being abruptly taken off a beta blocker. Daniel, I thought I was the only one with the eye thing. Also get the face stuff, eye twitches and hit flashes and tingling. I’ve just reached out for a cognitive behavior specialist as I really do not want to take meds. To answer your question I haven’t had any real medical testing as my PCP diagnosed me with anxiety after the first month off the beta blocker. I know I probably should but I have a real fear of doctors discovering something horribly wrong. So I use Dr. Google which is probably the worst thing I can do. I’ve been on a lot of forums over the last few months and I can tell you that overwhelming amounts of people who end up being diagnosed with anxiety have been through multiple medical tests and in the ER on multiple occasions, which did not reveal a medical issue. Not saying that those of us with the various physical symptoms should not have them checked out, but just sharing my observations.
And you are 100% right. Anxiety does, indeed, suck. It’s like hell on earth. It comes and goes and changes abd strikes whenever it feels like it. It tricks you and manipulates you. And that’s the best of it. LOL. I wish you and all fellow sufferers out there relief from the anxiety horror show soon.
Are you saying the beta blocker caused anxiety?t
I’m only saying after I was abruptly taken off of it I’ve suffered from anxiety since. It is possible the long term beta blocker use mitigated the anxiety symptoms for an unknown amount of time. Many if not most people who stop long term beta blocker use seem to experience terrible anxiety for some time.
