I suffer from severe depression and anxiety. I currently take Abilify and Zoloft. I started noticing about 10 years ago that I sweat all the time!
I am so embarrassed! I sweat in the most horrible of places and I cant stand to be in the sun. I finally put 2 and 2 together and realized the antidepressants were making me sweat! I've done alot of research and have found a couple of medicines that decrease sweating. Has anyone experienced this? And if so, has anyone tried any medications to help with the sweat? This is the worst thing I've ever had to deal with. Please help
Ive been on SSRIs for over 14 years I don’t sweat at all but that’s me it could be a side effect
Well, I'm happy you dont have to suffer with the sweating. I did do alot of online research and many people suffer from this side effect. I am just hoping that someone may have tried a new medication that doesn't have this side effect. I feel like I'm making progress with a couple of new medications, but if anyone else is going thru this and have suggestions, they are greatly appreciated!
