Hello Everyone,
I’m new to this forum. I googled anxiety forum and this website populated. I’ve been experiencing a few issues within the last month and I thought I’d share with everyone.
If this is something you can relate to, I would appreciate your feedback.
In 2018 I had a 24 holter test and stress test performed. All test were normal, thank God. Lately I think I’ve been getting palpitations. Sometime I feel like a strong heart beat and it makes me take a deep breath, but at other times is feels like there’s a spasm deep inside my chest. I’ve noticed also that lately I have been getting this twitch on my left rib-cage.
I feel like if my neck, shoulders, and the side of my head get really stiff. In regard to the thoughts, this is going to sound way out there, lol, but I’ve been getting a thought about what if I’m stressing my muscles or nerves out so much that it’s making me all tight inside my body and twitching is happening. I guess here’s my question. Is it possible to stress oneself out so much that the muscles inside of us start to get really tight and spasm? Or is it just anxiety or stress making making twitches and my brain telling me that other things are happening that are really not possible? I have also been twitching in my legs. I started seeing a therapist and I was told it’s psychosomatic.
I just had a few blood test performed (CMP, Vitamin D, Methylmalonic Acid & Homocysteine, CBC, ANA W/ Refl Titer, T4 Free, TSH, Cortisol A.M., Vitamin B12/Folate Serum Panel, T3 Free, SedRate, and CK Total)
My Vitamin D was low and glucose was a little elevated. Other than that, everyone was normal. I also had two EKGs performed. Those were normal too. So right now I’m waiting for my echo cardiogram and holster test too be approved. So far, everything has been okay.
Your input is appreciated.
