anxiety symptoms

Im pretty sure I have health anxiety as ive been to the doctor multiple times for different reasons, and different symptoms keep popping up! But it seems like after i see the doc for certain symptoms, they end up subsiding or going away completely until something new comes up...has anyone had symptoms of anxiety itself? im currently getting random itchiness all over, its not severe just annoying, and tingling in fingers and feet , and heart palpitations when im trying to sleep or when i wake up..and the feeling im kind out of breath but not actually out of breath if that makes any sense.

all your symptoms can be caused by anxiety. ive had those too. i had hives all over from stress. palpitations are common and are from adrenaline the brain sends out during anxiety. not harmful. u can search you tube for help with the breath issue. look up mindfulness breathing meditation. tingling is just a reaction your nervous system has to stress and anxiety.
u can also find great meditations for sleep, anxiety too!

If you’ve been to the physician to get the all clear and they can’t find anything, I would say it’s anxiety because every symptom you mentioned could be just that. Anxiety, can cause all kinds of symptoms mentally and physically and they can seem very real to us and once you get anxious about it then your mind tends to hyper focus it. It’s a nasty cycle for sure! A therapist who specializes in anxiety disorders could be of real benefit to you it sounds, once you work through the fear and the anxiety doesn’t spike they will seem like nothing at all and will pass quickly.

I think I have illness anxiety disorder, also known as hypochondria. I think every little symptom is the worse case scenario. I did go to urgent care yesterday and they didnt come up with anything. My symptoms usually get better after being seen by a doctor but soon after theres something else, its a viscious cycle. Im definitely getting counselIng. The weird thing is, these symptoms appear even when im not actively anxious and happens when im distracted.
