I am waiting for an appointment at the ENT. This due to a swollen lymph gland the dentist found in my neck. Since the find i have struggled with a bad cough which is now companied with a tight feeling in my throat. I am struggling to function on a daily basis and socialise. The worry is making me ill, i have convinced myself i have throat cancer 😭😭😭
Hi 😊 I had exactly Same thing and turned out to cough had been working on me so the lymph node was swollen. Most common cause is infection for them to swell. I know because I read everything on them when happened to me. I worried myself into a state of anxiety and still suffering and turned out OK.
Thanks for the reply jojo. I have made myself worse googling. I have just got an appointment at ENT. 5 week wait so thats another 5 weeks of worry and hell !!!
Aw that's what I done!! It's the worst thing ever to do aswell! Mostly they caused by infection and as u have a cough I'd imagine that what it is. 😊😊 hope u manage to relax 😊
Thanks for the reply. I am tryin not to let it rule my life, which is proving difficult. I find new symptoms daily or worry myself and am forever proding and poking at the lump.
I was the same and now I'm onto something else but started with citalopram so hopefully when they stop making me worse I'll feel much better! I was thinking I was sweating loosing weight and had every symptom with the lump tho infection is the most common cause and I'm sure u will be the same 😊😊
