Does anyone experience what I can only call huge stomach flips, the rush feeling through arms when trying to get to sleep at night? Also happens when finally do fall asleep, and wakes you up. Find it very traumatic as it happens everynight, not just now and again.
Yes I get this every night. It make it hard for me to go to sleep and stay asleep. I started taking melatonin pills and that has helped a lot.
Hi Marcy, yes this is very common. We are bio rhythm lower during the night, and things go bump etc, so it's no wonder that anxiety attacks can be quite frequent. I used to get this heaps. After a year of it I was worn out and other things started to go wrong. I got some help and 6 months on I'm feeling better with much less frequent attacks. I hope you feel better soon, David.
Yeah it's common for anxiety to increase at night when it's just you and your thoughts. I find its best to just address the issues you have by mentally thinking right I'm going to do this to achieve this etc. If that doesn't help just ask yourself if worrying about anything is going to achieve anything.
Hope that helps.
Chris
